Kohima: The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARC) in Dimapur, Nagaland, has opened recruitment for a Junior Research Fellow position specializing in Botany. This temporary research role is available for the 2026 calendar year and carries a monthly salary of 31,000 rupees plus applicable house rent allowance.
Candidates applying for the position must hold a Master of Science degree in Botany from a recognized university. The institute prefers applicants with specialization in taxonomy or ecology, as well as those with field experience in identifying plants across Northeast India. Additional benefits include proficiency in computer applications and language skills in Hindi, Nagamese, or Manipuri. Applicants must be under 30 years old to qualify for the role.
