Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu stated on Tuesday that the recent international recognitions bestowed upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscore India's rising influence and the Prime Minister's statesmanship on the world stage. Khandu celebrated the Prime Minister being awarded the Royal Order of the Polar Star, Commander Grand Cross, by the Swedish government, describing it as a proud moment for the nation.

Highlighting the significance of the achievement, the Chief Minister noted that this marks the 31st international honour received by Prime Minister Modi. He credited these awards to the Prime Minister's exceptional leadership, which has significantly expanded India's diplomatic reach across the globe.

The recognitions continue as King Harald V of Norway recently conferred the Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit upon Prime Minister Modi. Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also offered his congratulations, emphasizing that these accolades serve to deepen the strategic partnership and friendship between the two nations while reflecting India's increasing prominence in international affairs.
