Police Seize Rs 1.68 Crore in Cash at Agartala Airport

Agartala: Security officials at Agartala Airport seized Rs 1.68 crore in cash from two passengers on Wednesday. The individuals, both hailing from Maharashtra, were detained while attempting to board a flight at the facility.

Airport security discovered the large sum of money during routine checks. Officials have taken the pair into custody for questioning regarding the source and intended destination of the funds. Local law enforcement is currently investigating the incident to determine if the cash is linked to any illegal activities.
