Agartala: Recovery teams pulled a young man’s body from the Howrah River today. Locals spotted the remains in the water and alerted the police. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after to secure the area and begin their work.
Investigators now treat the death as a homicide. The victim remains unidentified at this stage. Detectives are combing the riverbank for evidence while they wait for autopsy results to confirm how the man died.
