Kohima: Dimapur police have taken a second individual into custody regarding the alleged sexual assault of a minor. Authorities identified the man as 37-year-old Tsuktimongba Ao, who was apprehended on Sunday.
Investigators are currently questioning the suspect to clarify his specific role and level of involvement in the incident. This arrest follows the recent detention of the primary suspect, Watimeren Jamir, also known as O. Wati.
Police took Jamir into custody after a local court revoked his anticipatory bail. He has since appeared before the court and remains in police remand to allow for ongoing investigations.
