Pherzawl Schools Launch Mega Drive for Student Academic IDs

Imphal: The Zonal Education Office in Pherzawl held a mass registration drive today at Pherzawl Higher Secondary School. T Khelchandra Singh, the local Zonal Education Officer, oversaw the event to boost the uptake of Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry IDs. Students need these digital IDs to build a single, nationwide record of their schooling.

Multiple schools joined the push. Students and families traveled from Pherzawl Higher Secondary, PMS Pherzawl, RMS Pherzawl, Parbung Higher Secondary, and JSS Parbung to get help. Roughly 30 students and seven parents showed up for the training.

Master Trainers Thanminlian Zou and Emmanuel Lalsansuok ran the session titled "How to Generate APAAR ID." They walked the group through the digital platform step by step. Staff answered questions while helping families register their accounts. The team successfully generated 14 IDs before the event wrapped up. This push marks a new chapter for digital record keeping in the district.
