Kohima: Rhosietho Nguori, the Deputy Commissioner and chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority in Phek, has scheduled a quarterly monsoon preparedness meeting. The session will take place at the DC Conference Hall on June 3, 2026, starting at 1 p.m.
Local officials are expected to attend the gathering to ensure the district is adequately prepared for the upcoming rainy season. Nguori has requested that all relevant authorities participate in the discussion to review safety measures and disaster readiness protocols.
