Kohima: Local leaders in Phek are calling on financial institutions to increase their support for the region's entrepreneurs and small business initiatives. The push came during a recent District Consultative Committee and District Level Review Committee meeting held on May 20.
Kudecho Khamo attended the session alongside other officials to discuss the current economic landscape. The meeting focused on how banks can play a more active role in funding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Participants emphasized that better access to capital is essential for fostering local growth and sustaining the district's emerging business sector.
