Kohima: Medical staff in Phek just finished two days of intense training on digital health reporting. The workshop focused on the revised Health Management Information System and the Reproductive Child Health Janani Portal. Officials gathered at the CMO Conference Hall on July 6 and 7 to fix gaps in how data gets recorded.
District Programme Manager officials and Phek Sadar staff led the sessions. They pushed for better quality, accuracy, and speed in all reports. Attendees included Community Health Officers, nursing staff, and various program managers.
Instructors walked the team through new reporting formats and data entry steps. They tackled questions during practical demos to make sure the system makes sense. The goal is simple: cleaner data for the district. Similar training events already happened across every block in Phek. Organizers stated the sessions aimed at "strengthening the quality, accuracy and timeliness of health data reporting."
