Peren District Orders Mandatory Mass Social Work for Staff

Kohima: Peren district officials face a mandatory call to duty this month. The District Planning Officer confirmed a mass social work event for June 26. The cleanup effort begins at 8 am sharp.

All government staff stationed at the District Headquarters and across all subdivisions must show up. The work order is not optional. Participants need to clear grass along roadsides and tend to trees planted during previous drives. The official directive states that "participation was mandatory for all Government officers and staff at District Headquarters as well as in all subdivisions."

Every department has received specific areas for maintenance. Workers must focus on clearing debris and general upkeep to keep the district grounds tidy.
