Organizations honor the late Mrs. Khotuou Liezietsu

Kohima: Various organizations are mourning the passing of Mrs. Khotuou Liezietsu, the wife of former Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu. She passed away on May 24 while at Apollo International Hospital in Guwahati.

The Lok Janshakti Party, through national secretary S. Richard Humtsoe, remembered her as a woman of grace and quiet strength. The party noted that she served as a steadfast companion throughout her husband's long career in public life and praised her noble character.

Representatives from the NPF Mokokchung division also paid tribute to her legacy, highlighting her dignity and unwavering faith. They described her as a devoted mother and a matriarch whose wisdom and kindness impacted many people. The Nagaland Gorkha Association expressed its shock at the news, offering prayers for peace and extending its sympathies to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
