Itanagar: Nuravi Group Managing Director Ravi Ranjan Chaubey met with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Manish Gupta in Itanagar this week. They reviewed the status of the Namchik-Namphuk West Coal Block. Mining work nears. Chaubey thanked state officials for clearing the path for the project to get moving.

The company boss promised to keep local residents in the loop. He said the firm remains committed to "building trust with local communities while ensuring transparency and environmentally responsible mining practices." The Nuravi Group is currently setting up shop near Longtom-I and Longtom-II villages.

Chief Secretary Gupta praised the company for engaging locals early. He noted the firm’s efforts to support community events and green initiatives before extracting a single ton of coal. Gupta argued that this people-first strategy provides a solid base for regional growth.

The state government and the firm now share a goal. They want to fuel the economy while keeping the local environment and the public interest at the front of the line.
