Kohima: The Nagaland RMSA Teachers Association 2016, known as NRMSATA-2016, has formally urged the Nagaland state government to adhere to the rule of law. This call comes as the organization continues its ongoing efforts to address long-standing grievances among its members.

The appeal coincides with an indefinite sit-in protest staged by the association in Kohima on September 8, 2025. During the demonstration, teachers displayed a collage of placards to voice their dissatisfaction and highlight their demands. As stated in their public messaging, the group is calling on authorities to "Respect Rule of Law" regarding their professional standing and employment conditions.
