NPF Rallies Support for Wokha Town Council Bye-Election Candidate

Kohima: The Naga People's Front Wokha Division gathered at the VDBs and WDVCC Hall in Tsumang B on June 10 to mobilize support for Ar. Aling Lotha, the party's candidate for the upcoming Urban Local Body bye-election in Ward No. 8. The event drew key party figures, including Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon, Advisor and MLA Mhathung Yanthan, MLA Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, and Advisor Dr. Chumben Murry.

Addressing the crowd, candidate Ar. Aling Lotha expressed his gratitude to the party for the nomination and promised to utilize his professional background as an architect to improve local town planning and development. He urged the residents to support his vision for the welfare of the ward.

Party leaders emphasized the importance of the regional party's grassroots strength and its commitment to safeguarding the interests of the local population. Mhathung Yanthan spoke in favor of the candidate, describing him as “the right candidate at the right time.”
