NLU Shillong Hiring Part-Time Medical Officer for 2026

Shillong: The National Law University in Shillong is looking for a part-time medical officer. The job requires four visits every week. Each visit lasts two hours. The position pays a fixed honorarium of 10,000 rupees per week, totaling about 40,000 rupees each month.

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree and maintain a valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a state medical council. The school also welcomes retired doctors from government hospitals, autonomous institutions, and public sector undertakings if they remain medically fit. The university gives preference to those with past experience in emergency care, general practice, occupational health, or institutional healthcare.

Interested applicants must provide self-attested copies of their degrees and registration records. Retired staff should also include their retirement order or Pension Payment Order. You must provide a recent passport-size photograph with your materials.
