Niuland Officials Train for Upcoming Census 2026

Kohima: Niuland recently hosted a three-day intensive training program to prepare enumerators and supervisors for the upcoming Census 2026. The sessions took place at the Deputy Commissioner conference hall and the Kuhuboto SDO office.

Deputy Commissioner TL Kiusumong Tikhir addressed the group during the inaugural session to emphasize the significance of their roles. He noted that local authorities carefully vetted the staff to ensure the most qualified individuals were chosen for the project.

Addressing the attendees, Tikhir stated, "Lot of thought process have taken place during the selection of the enumerators and supervisors in the district." He urged all participants to treat the assignment with the highest level of seriousness and to focus their attention on gathering precise and accurate census data for the region.
