Kohima: The Niuland Area Gaon Buras Association has officially requested that the Chief Minister of Nagaland authorize the construction of a new reinforced cement concrete bridge. The group is asking for the project to be included in the financial year 2026-27 budget.

This request comes as the current Atu Ghoki bridge reaches the end of its service life. The existing structure, which was originally built in 1991, requires a permanent replacement to maintain connectivity for the local area.
