Shillong: NIT Meghalaya is scouting for new guest faculty members for the 2026 academic year. The institute needs experts to fill vacancies in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or have submitted their thesis to qualify for these teaching roles.
Pay is set at a consolidated 65,000 rupees per month. The school offers no extra benefits like medical reimbursements or pension schemes. Successful applicants get free shared hostel housing if they need it. The institute clarified the terms: "No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable."
Civil Engineering has three spots open, while Computer Science needs two and Electronics requires one.
