New Tripura University VC Sets Sights on Academic Growth

Agartala: Dr. Debabrata Das officially took charge as the new Vice Chancellor of Tripura Central University on July 8. He immediately outlined a clear agenda for the institution. He plans to prioritize academic and research excellence above all else. He also wants to boost the skill sets and job prospects of the student body.

Das intends to raise the profile of the campus. He wants to push the university into the national spotlight to make it one of the country's top institutions. Success depends on everyone. He called on faculty, officers, and students to help lift the university to the next level.

The new VC acknowledged the work done by his predecessors and the various committees that kept the school running. He recognizes that the local community keeps a close watch on the university. Addressing stakeholders, Das noted: "I would also like to congratulate all the faculty members, officers, students, and other stakeholders of this university for contributing to such a splendid growth of the university."
