Kohima: A new SDPO office was officially inaugurated at the Tuli Police Station premises on May 22, 2026. The ceremony drew a crowd of local officials, police personnel, church leaders, and community members. Senior Superintendent of Police for Mokokchung, Vesupra Kezo, attended the event as the special guest.

SDPO Tuli, Aketo Chisho, noted during his welcome address that the relocation signifies a major step toward enhancing public service and local policing. He explained that the office is not a new creation but has been moved from its previous location at the ADC Office to a more dedicated workspace designed for better efficiency.

Chisho expressed his appreciation to the ADC Office for hosting the department since the 1990s. He also pledged that the police force remains committed to serving the community with fairness, integrity, and continued cooperation with the public.
