Itanagar: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) in Arunachal Pradesh has opened applications for four guest faculty positions within its mathematics department for 2026. Interested candidates must meet qualifications set by the UGC and AICTE to be considered for these roles.
Successful applicants will receive a compensation of 1,500 rupees per lecture, capped at a monthly maximum of 50,000 rupees. The institute clarified that "no other allowances will be admissible" for those appointed to these teaching positions.
Candidates must submit their details through an online Google Form by 5:00 PM on July 12, 2026. Following the application deadline, the institute will host a walk-in interview on July 15, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at the Department of Mathematics in Nirjuli, Itanagar. Attendees are required to present both original documents and a complete set of photocopies for verification during the session.
