Agartala: National Disaster Response Force personnel hit the water at Dumboor Lake today. The team ran a full-scale rescue drill to test how fast they can move when lives are on the line. Tripura state officials monitored the exercise closely.

Boats crisscrossed the scenic water as responders practiced reaching victims and pulling them to safety. Speed matters here. The agency uses these training sessions to keep their edge sharp for real floods or accidents. Every second counts in a crisis.
