Kohima: Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha gathered department heads at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat in Kohima on Tuesday. The meeting set the stage for the state's 80th Independence Day milestone. Planning is underway.

Officials reviewed parade management, cultural shows, and logistics. This coordination meeting happens every year. It ensures every department knows its job before the big day arrives. Nagaland sticks to a uniform event template across all districts.

Sinha will soon send formal instructions to all Deputy Commissioners. He wants a befitting celebration this time around. The state government expects full cooperation from every agency involved.

Sinha praised past work. He urged staff to keep up the pace. He said, "The coordination exercise is convened annually well in advance to ensure that all participating departments and agencies are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities."

Expect professional execution. The state aims for a grand success.
