Nagaland MP Demands Swift Justice Following Dimapur Minor Assault

Kohima: Rajya Sabha MP from Nagaland S. Phangnon Konyak has spoken out against the recent sexual assault of a minor in Dimapur. Describing the act as heinous and inhuman, she urged the community to collectively denounce such violence and ensure it has no place in a civil society.

Konyak has been in contact with the Commissioner of Police in Dimapur regarding the case. She confirmed that local authorities have taken formal notice of the situation and are making progress in their investigation.

The MP emphasized that crimes against children are intolerable. She called for a united effort from all citizens to prioritize the safety, protection, and dignity of children across the state.
