Nagaland hosts workshop for women-led climate tech enterprises

Kohima: The SELCO Foundation and the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission are gathering stakeholders at the NBCC Convention Centre in Kohima. The event kicks off July 3 at 10:00 AM. It centers on the theme “Women-led Rural Enterprises for a Climate-Smart Nagaland.”

Organizers want to build a platform for local women to find better business solutions. The agenda includes a Technology Mela to show off new gear and live demonstrations. Entrepreneurs will learn how to get the cash they need to grow. Banks and vendors are coming to build market ties.

The goal is clear. The workshop aims to bridge the gap between rural workers and financial backers. Attendees expect to walk away with better access to funding and a sharper view of the market. Planners also hope for better coordination between the government, bankers, and local groups to fuel long-term change.
