Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav wants faster growth. He met with the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland at Lok Bhavan in Kohima on Tuesday to force the issue. He told officials they must prioritize the ease of doing business and create real jobs for the local population.
Yadav demanded better coordination between everyone involved. He insisted that development programs need to reach entrepreneurs and young people across the state. The governor wants to pull in more investment while keeping growth sustainable and fair for all regions.
IDAN leaders walked the governor through their current work. They covered corporate social responsibility, investment outreach, and the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission. The agency also highlighted its centers for intellectual property and small business support. Yadav praised the team but signaled that the job is far from finished. During the review, he told his staff to find "effective implementation of development programmes" to keep the momentum going.
The group spent the session looking for ways to fix old problems. They focused on how to make IDAN stronger as it pushes the state’s financial agenda forward. Officials plan to keep working on these strategies to ensure the governor’s vision for the state turns into action.
