Kohima: Nagaland has officially bolstered its emergency response infrastructure by inaugurating a new fire station and launching a digital management system. The project, titled the Modernisation of Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services-Management System, aims to upgrade how the state handles fire-related incidents.
Inspector General of Fire and Emergency Services, Neilasa Sopfii, introduced the initiative during an event held in Kohima on May 20. The integration of digital tools is expected to improve coordination and operational efficiency for teams across the state as they work to modernize their emergency protocols.
