Kohima: Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister T R Zeliang has condemned the killing of six Zeliangrong Nagas in Manipur, calling the incident a disturbing act of inhumanity. He expressed deep anguish over the loss of life and characterized the violence as a senseless attack on the principles of peace and coexistence.
Zeliang stated that such actions represent a direct assault on the fundamental values that hold society together. Regarding the tragedy, he remarked, "every human life is sacred and deserves respect, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or community."
The Deputy Chief Minister has called on authorities to launch an impartial and thorough investigation into the matter. He emphasized the necessity of bringing those responsible to justice under the law. Zeliang also extended his condolences to the grieving families and stated his expectation that justice will be served as soon as possible.
