Kohima: The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority issued a storm warning. Expect thunderstorms and lightning across the state until July 4. Residents must stay alert.
Storms will hit Chümoukedima, Kohima, Longleng, Meluri, Mokokchung, Mon, Peren, Tseminyu, Tuensang, and Zunheboto on July 1. These districts face light to moderate rain. The weather remains unsettled through the week.
Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Peren, Tseminyu, Tuensang, and Zunheboto expect more lightning on July 2. Dimapur, Niuland, and Wokha will get scattered rain. On July 3, the authority predicted localized thunderstorms over Kiphire, Longleng, Meluri, Mon, Noklak, Tseminyu, Wokha, and Zunheboto. Other districts will see light showers.
By July 4, storms persist in Kohima, Meluri, Mokokchung, Mon, Niuland, Noklak, Peren, Phek, Tseminyu, Tuensang, and Zunheboto. Chümoukedima, Kiphire, and Longleng get scattered rain.
