Kohima: Naga Women Hoho Dimapur held a hands-on workshop at the Potentia Building in Nagarjan Junction on June 27. Women representing nine different tribes showed up to learn new trades. The session focused on practical skills to help participants earn money and improve their daily lives.
Adrian M. Mahung, a consultant with the DMC Waste Management, led the environmental awareness segment. He taught attendees how to better manage waste in their communities. Following the environmental talk, Gaily Trakha ran a clinic on food preservation and pickle making. Mulung Pongen, who runs Istinatural, wrapped up the day by showing the group how to mix their own skin and hair care products.
The organization stands by its mission to support local women through education and community work. In a closing statement, the group said it remains committed to "empowering women through skill development, environmental awareness and community engagement."
