Kohima: The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur gathered members from nine tribes on Saturday to sharpen their practical skills. The event took place at the Potentia Building in Nagarjan Junction. It aimed to boost environmental awareness and self-sufficiency among local women.
Adrian M Mahung led a session on waste management. He works as a consultant for the Dimapur Municipal Council. The program also covered food preservation techniques. Gaily Trakha taught the group how to make pickles and store food properly.
Natural skincare took center stage as well. Mulung Pongen showed the attendees how to craft their own hair and skin products. She is the founder of Istinatural. The organizers praised everyone involved for the event's success. The group remains focused on its core mission. They stated: "NWHD thanked the resource persons and participants for contributing to the success of the workshop and reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women through skill development, environmental awareness and community engagement."
