Imphal: Unidentified individuals vandalized the Naga People’s Front state office in Senapati on Wednesday night. The attack followed news that six Naga civilians, who had been missing since their abduction on May 13, 2026, were found dead.
The United Naga Council reported that the victims were discovered in a brutal state. The organization issued a statement asserting that the individuals were recovered in a “mutilated and dismembered condition,” while also alleging that the killings were carried out by Kuki militants.
The NPF is part of the ruling NDA alliance in Manipur, and the party includes Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho. Authorities confirmed that no one was injured during the vandalism at the party office. Local police have not yet made any arrests, and official responses from the government and the NPF remain pending.
