Kohima: Nagaland’s creative scene is heading to Singapore. Four acts will headline the Made in Nagaland showcase at the Music Matters industry event on October 3. The lineup includes Street Stories, Moko Koza, Gluttones, and Shau Evans. These artists will take the Main Stage to show off the state’s contemporary sound and energy to an international crowd.
This performance highlights the state’s push to bring its music to the world. It marks a shift toward a global outlook. The Task Force for Music & Arts, known as TaFMA, credited Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for his backing of the initiative. TaFMA also thanked Fastrack and Titan Company Limited for supporting the creative journey of these performers.
TaFMA chairman Theja Meru views the event as a pivotal moment for local talent. He stated, "With Made in Nagaland, the state continues to take its creative story from roots to routes, and from Nagaland to the world." Organizers hope this platform creates new opportunities for the entire music ecosystem in the region.
