Guwahati: Morigaon police secured a significant recovery of stolen school property following a series of coordinated operations across the district on Friday, June 19. The police efforts, which spanned from daytime hours until late at night, successfully tracked down numerous items taken from local educational institutions.
During the operation, authorities apprehended a suspect identified as Anarul in connection with the thefts. Additional Superintendent of Police Kankan Kumar Nath addressed the press regarding the recovery, stating, "Police have stated that further raids are being conducted and more arrests are expected in connection with the case."
Investigators report that several other individuals linked to the theft ring remain at large. Police are actively working to locate these suspects as the investigation continues. Officials expect the case to develop further as additional raids take place throughout the region.
