Itanagar: Eighteen additional households from Begging village have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the Pre-Feasibility Report of the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project. The signing took place on May 26 at the Deputy Commissioner office in Boleng, under the supervision of Tayi Taggu and other district officials.

This latest update brings the total number of households from Begging village to support the project to 54, following an initial group of 36 participants. Local officials noted that this progress highlights consistent engagement and open dialogue between the community and project stakeholders.

The district administration continues to hold regular consultations with local residents to keep the community informed and involved throughout the development process. As one of the region’s primary infrastructure initiatives, the project and its ongoing reporting phases remain under close supervision by state agencies.
