Mokokchung Sets Polio Vaccination Drive for June 28

Kohima: Mokokchung health officials have set June 28, 2026, for the National Immunization Day. The drive targets children aged zero to five years. Parents and guardians must get their kids two drops of the polio vaccine.

Booths are popping up across the district. The health department calls these Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization sites. "Ensure that every eligible child in this age group receives two drops of the polio vaccine," the Chief Medical Officer stated.
