Aizawl: Mizoram authorities have taken two men into custody for allegedly distributing sexually explicit content through public YouTube channels. The investigation, spearheaded by the Cyber Crime Police Station, began in late April after reports surfaced regarding material accessible to the general public, including minors.
Following a technical probe conducted in collaboration with YouTube, investigators successfully identified the account operators on May 14. The suspects were identified as 29-year-old Henry Lalrinpuia of Aizawl, who managed the channel @NGAITHLASUHPUITLINGHUANG, and 35-year-old Vanlalhmangaihzuala from Mamit district's Phuldungsei village, linked to @puitlinghuangzz. Lalrinpuia was taken into custody on Friday, with Vanlalhmangaihzuala arrested the following day.
