Itanagar: On May 16, Minister of Information and Public Relations Nyato Dukam officially inaugurated the Tulang pure edible oil factory, located at the Industrial Estate in Pasighat. The event was attended by local representatives, including Pasighat East MLA Tapi Darang, Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering, and Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng.
During the ceremony, Minister Dukam commended entrepreneur Mohonto Pangin for his vision and persistence in establishing the facility. He noted that such ventures are essential for strengthening the regional economic base and providing critical employment opportunities for the state's youth. The Minister emphasized that individual initiatives like these serve as a significant inspiration for the next generation of entrepreneurs in Arunachal Pradesh.
In addition to industrial development, Minister Dukam highlighted the vast potential of the East Siang district, particularly in the tourism sector. He encouraged residents to practice warm hospitality to enhance the state's image and further contribute to the local economy. Dukam concluded his address by calling for collective unity to drive statewide growth.
The visiting MLAs also voiced strong support for the initiative, urging the public to prioritize locally produced, organic goods. By choosing local products, residents can support regional farmers and ensure the long-term sustainability of the district's economy.
