Meghalaya SSLC Pass Rate Hits 97.26 Percent Following Supplementary Results

Shillong: Meghalaya's overall Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) pass percentage for 2026 has climbed to 97.26 percent following the release of the supplementary examination results. Out of 5,615 candidates who took the supplementary tests, 5,063 successfully cleared the exams, marking a success rate of 90.17 percent for that cohort.

The final figures show that 47,291 students passed out of the 48,623 total candidates who appeared for the exams this year. Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma celebrated the achievement on social media, praising the students for their hard work, determination, and perseverance.

The Chief Minister described the milestone as a proud moment for the entire education community, including parents and teachers. He extended his best wishes to the successful students for their future endeavors, encouraging them to continue working hard and striving toward their goals.
