Guwahati: The Margherita Co-District Administration is shifting hundreds of pending LPG bookings to new distributors. This move stops potential shortages for residents stuck waiting on M/S Margherita Gas Supply. The shift keeps cooking gas moving.

Ledo Gas Agency will handle 200 bookings from Bargolai and Balukhad. Petro Gas Agency in Digboi picks up 198 orders from Powai and Dehing Tea Estate. Meanwhile, Pengerigarh Indane Gramin Vitrak in Pengree takes on 150 bookings from Ketetong and Inthem. Deliveries go straight to doors as usual.

Pricing depends on the agency. Cylinders cost Rs 907.07 at Margherita, Petro Gas, and Pengree depots, rising to Rs 940.50 with home delivery fees. Ledo Gas Agency charges Rs 907.57 for pickup and Rs 941.00 for delivery.

Officials warn residents to stick to official prices. "The Margherita Co-District Administration has advised consumers to pay only the notified rates and obtain proper cash memos for all LPG transactions." Keep your receipts. Reach out to your new distributor if your delivery stalls.
