Imphal: Manipur police arrested a 26-year-old man on May 19, 2026, regarding an active sexual assault investigation. Officers took the suspect, identified as Sadaf from Hatta Golapati Masjid Achouba, into custody at the Checkon Auto Parking area in Imphal East.
The arrest follows a formal complaint filed with the Women Police Station in the district. Law enforcement officials confirm that the investigation remains active as they continue to process the case.
