Manipur Mourns Death of Cultural Icon Kakchingtabam Kumar Sharma

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh is mourning the death of Kakchingtabam Kumar Sharma. The late cultural figure hailed from Singjamei Chinga Makhong Chongtham Leikai. His loss leaves a gap in the local community.

Khemchand Singh took to X to share his sorrow. He honored Sharma as a revered Ratana of the Shree Shree Govindaji Brahmasabha. The Chief Minister praised his work in preserving Manipur’s cultural heritage and the Nata Sankirtan art form. "The Chief Minister described Sharma as a revered Ratana of Shree Shree Govindaji Brahmasabha and acknowledged his contribution to preserving Manipur’s rich cultural heritage and the traditional art form of Nata Sankirtan."
