Imphal: Manipur Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam visited the Police Headquarters on Tuesday to commend the state force for its efforts to maintain public safety. During the visit, he praised the Director General of Police and his leadership team for their rapid response and coordination in addressing regional challenges to restore normalcy.
The Minister highlighted the essential role the force plays in keeping the state secure. He acknowledged that officers have served the public with discipline and courage despite facing difficult conditions. Addressing the staff, Govindas said, "a dedicated police force is the backbone of a peaceful and secure Manipur."
The Home Minister expressed full confidence in the police department's ongoing commitment to its duties. He stated that the force remains a critical pillar of stability and will continue to perform its responsibilities with professionalism to ensure the safety of all citizens.
