Imphal: The Manipur government released an official order on Friday detailing the transfer and posting of several senior administrative officers. This reshuffle directly impacts leadership positions within the Ukhrul and Kakching districts.
Ashish Das, the former Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, will move to a new position as Joint Secretary for the state government. Uppuluri Chaitanya, who previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of Kakching, has been appointed to fill the vacancy left by Das in Ukhrul.
The position of Deputy Commissioner in Kakching will be filled by Angeline Renita. She transitions into this role from her previous work as Joint Secretary and Project Director of MACS. Bidyaram Ayekpam, the Joint Secretary of the Department of Personnel, issued these changes following formal approval from the Election Commission of India.
