Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand inaugurated three new bridges in the Lamsang Assembly Constituency on Friday, marking a significant step toward improving regional infrastructure. The projects include a pucca bridge over the Merakhong Stream at Salam Mamang Leikai, another over the Maklang River near Maklang Bazaar, and an RCC bridge spanning the Nambul River at Akham Mayai Leikai.

The Chief Minister performed these inaugurations alongside MLA S. Rajen Singh and Lamlai Assembly Constituency representative Kh. Ibomcha Singh. During the events, Khemchand emphasized that these structures will provide residents with better access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and local markets.

By facilitating the seamless movement of people and goods, these developments are expected to stimulate economic growth and foster inclusive progress across the area. The government remains focused on strengthening road networks and quality infrastructure to ensure that developmental benefits reach all parts of the state.
