Major General Anurag Vij Reviews NCC Shooting Camp in Guwahati

Guwahati: Major General Anurag Vij, the Additional Director General of NCC North Eastern Region, visited the 7 Assam Battalion training camp at the Khalipara Shooting Range in Guwahati this Tuesday. The visit focused on reviewing the training and selection process for the Inter Directorate Sports Shooting Championship.

During his inspection, the Major General evaluated firing schedules, training modules, and the facilities provided for the cadets. The current 40-day program is hosted at Girijananda Chowdhury University, bringing together over 400 cadets from across the Northeastern states to prepare for national-level marksmanship events.

The Major General met with the participants to monitor the progress of their training standards. During the interaction, Maj Gen Vij presented watches to the cadets and wished them success in the upcoming competitions. He encouraged the group to maintain "discipline, dedication and commitment" throughout their intensive preparations.
