Kohima: The Lotha Baptist Churches Association from Vankhosung Wokha held a three-day leadership summit from September 14 to 16, 2026. The training took place at Nagaland House in K. R. Puram, New Delhi. Twenty-five youth pastors from various Lotha Baptist Churches attended. The goal was simple: sharpen ministry skills and confront modern obstacles.
The event kicked off on September 14 with a fellowship dinner. Pastor N. Mhabemo Kithan of Lotha Baptist Church Delhi led the opening devotion. Resource person Evangeline Odyuo Koireng, who serves as the Country Team Leader for Leader Source in New Delhi, spoke on mentorship. She told attendees they must "cultivate a culture of developing leaders and enabling individuals to move their lives to a better place."
Pastor Imli P. Lemtur of Delhi Ao Baptist Church ran sessions on mental health and current ministry hurdles. He pushed the pastors to stop following cultural trends and start using better discernment. He wants them to grow in four areas: spiritual, emotional, relational, and professional. B. Jenibemo Kithan of Lotha Baptist Church Diphubar moderated a discussion for participants to air their concerns and questions.
Participants spent their downtime touring local sites. They visited India Gate, the National Zoological Park, the Lotus Temple, and the Qutab Minar. The association thanked the Joint Resident Commissioner and the staff at Nagaland House for their help during the trip.
