Kohima: The Longchang Area Students Union (LASU) has voiced serious alarm regarding the stalled progress of developmental projects within its region. The organization identified multiple taxation as a primary driver of this stagnation, noting that such practices disrupt the implementation of infrastructure and ultimately harm the local population.
Addressing the issue directly, the union issued a stern warning to all NGOs, organizations, and individuals. LASU cautioned that anyone found obstructing projects intended for public benefit will be held accountable. The union pledged to take decisive action within its mandate to eliminate these hindrances.
The organization called on all stakeholders to prioritize the collective welfare of the region. By urging cooperation, LASU aims to ensure that future developmental works proceed without sabotage or unnecessary delays, allowing the intended benefits to reach the community effectively.
