Kohima: Ongthan Phom has achieved a significant economic turnaround in Noksosang village by adopting a new mushroom cultivation model. Located in the Longleng district, the local resident successfully established a low-cost production unit that has transformed his financial stability.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). By providing the necessary guidance and model for mushroom farming, the organization enabled Phom to develop a sustainable source of income within his community.
