Kuda Youth Club Demands Immediate Cleanup of Cables and Signs

Kohima: Kuda Youth Club issued a firm directive to telecom firms and local departments on August 30. They want order in Kuda Village. Companies must now secure all overhead optical fibre and telecom cables that currently hang low across local alleys, lanes, and village entry points.

The club mandated that no groups or businesses can install banners or signs without first getting permission from the club. This requirement applies to all displays within the jurisdiction of the village. The club expects all parties to finish this work within 14 days of their notification.

The move aims to keep the area safe and clear for both pedestrians and passing vehicles. In their official statement, the club requested full cooperation to keep Kuda Village "safe, clean and well organised."
